Martin and
Wendy moved to the UK and worked in Bristol in 2002, which is a university town on the west coast of
England. In 2003 they moved to London where they are still living and working in
2006. In Bristol they were lucky enough to have an apartment with an excellent kitchen! "Our
kitchen at the apartment. Very nice isn’t it. You cannot see the fridge,
dishwasher and washing machine as they are in the cupboards. This is the only
part of the apartment that is clean so you won’t get any other
photos".
Outside of Bristol apartment.
Wendy hugging a large tree at Westonbrit Arboretum.
Salisbury Cathedral – built between 1220 and 1258 and still
has services every week.

Mediaeval banquet at BoleBroke Castle south of London The castle
is more a manor house than a castle. Marty (the monk) being knighted by
Dave (the knight). Wendy and friends in background.

Getting used to English weather - Martin freezing near Bolebroke castle.

Wendy outside BoleBroke Castle on Sunday morning (8.00am). It was quite
chilly and you can see the frost on the ground.

Marty and Wendy at Brighton just after we got off the bus. It was quite
chilly with the sea breeze but a lovely spot.

Stonehenge – this is as close as you get. It is all roped off so you cannot
walk between the rocks – very impressive.

Wendy sun baking on the beach at Brighton - English style!
